When I close my eyes, I see myself as a child, buckled up in the backseat of my parent’s car.
Driving to our next destination, looking through the window and observing how the landscapes majestically change from roaming hills to peaky mountains.
This nostalgic feeling is so rooted and brings me back to a carefree fantasy world where mother earth is a huge playground.
After many years I changed seats and become a modern explorer behind the wheels, constantly looking for that same feeling, I had as a child. Back to my roots, the pure, the essence.
These childhood memories are my biggest inspiration for my sculptures where I seek a balance between
structure, shape and colour.
Balance and instability are frequently the centre point of my sculptures to showcase the fragility of nature.
Our human actions always leave an imprint on nature.
A memory, a dream, a vision becomes reality…
